ジェームズ・ボンドが主人公の新作「Project 007（仮）」の情報も。「HITMAN World of Assassination」，Switch 2版を6月5日に発売

　IO Interactiveは2025年4月2日，任天堂が配信した情報番組「Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2」で，「HITMAN World of Assassination」のNintendo Switch 2版を6月5日に発売すると発表した。Nintendo Switch 2と同日発売となる。


　本作は，ステルスアクション「HITMAN」「HITMAN 2」「HITMAN 3」をひとまとめにしたIO Interactiveの代表作だ。2023年1月に「HITMAN 3」から改称し，PC/PS/Xbox向けに販売されている。
　プレイヤーは，業界最高の暗殺者を操作し，あらゆる手段で任務の遂行を目指していく。


　また，新作タイトル「Project 007（仮）」（関連記事）をNintendo Switch 2向けに開発していることも発表された。
　公式サイト（外部リンク）によると，秘密諜報員ジェームズ・ボンドが「00」の地位を獲得するまでの道のりを描いた，完全オリジナルのストーリーが展開されるという。
