クトゥルフ風サバイバルホラーFPS「Beneath」のリリース日が決定。PC版は10月27日，PS5 / Xbox Series X|S版は10月28日

　Camel 101は，同社が開発する新作「Beneath」のリリース日を発表した。PC版は10月27日，PS5 / Xbox Series X|S版は10月28日となっている。これに合わせて，トレイラーも公開された。


　本作は，クトゥルフ神話風の世界を舞台にしたシングルプレイ用のサバイバルホラーFPS。熟練ダイバーである主人公のノア・クインは北極海の海底にある施設に閉じ込められ，そこに出現する怪物たちと戦うことになる。クトゥルフものらしく，クインは自身の正気を保ちながら怪物たちと戦う必要があるようだ。


　10時間以上のキャンペーンが用意されているという本作のトレイラーには，ゾンビのような敵が迫ってきたり，ヘリコプターが怪物によって海中に引き込まれそうになったりといったシーンが挿入されており，クトゥルフだけでなく「バイオハザード」のような雰囲気も感じられる。

　Steamのストアページには，インタフェースと字幕が日本語に対応することが明記されている。Steamでは体験版も配信されているので，本作が気になる人はそちらをプレイしてみるといいだろう。
