「Cronos: The New Dawn」，荒廃した未来世界の様子や，さまざまな装備で敵と戦うシーンを確認できる最新トレイラーを公開

　Bloober Teamは本日（2025年8月20日），同社が9月6日に発売を予定している新作タイトル「Cronos: The New Dawn」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch 2）の最新トレイラーを公開した。


　本作は，「Layers of Fear」やリメイク版「SILENT HILL 2」などを手掛けたBloober Teamによる，三人称視点のサバイバルホラーゲームだ。

　プレイヤーは謎の組織「コレクティブ」に雇われたタイムトラベラーとして，荒廃した未来の世界を探索し，過去に転送するためのタイムリフトを見つけ出すことになる。その目的は，過去の終末で命を落とした重要人物を，未来に連れ出すことだ。


　未来の世界では，人間の残滓から生まれた悪夢のようなモンスターが徘徊しており，限られた弾薬や物資を補充するために資源を漁りながら，「融合」によってより危険な存在へと変貌するモンスターへと立ち向かっていく。


　公開されたトレイラーでは，荒廃しつつも現代の痕跡が残る未来世界を探索する様子や，不思議な技術により道を開くギミック，敵を足止めする炎を噴射する装置や，ダウンさせて追撃できるショットガンのような銃など，さまざまな武器を使ってモンスターたちに立ち向かう様子を確認できる。
