怪物が怪物を取り込み，さらなる怪物へ。サバイバルホラー「Cronos: The New Dawn」のゲームプレイトレイラー公開
Bloober Teamは本日（2025年6月16日），開発中のサバイバルホラー「Cronos: The New Dawn」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S）のゲームプレイトレイラーを公開した。
本作では，謎の組織「コレクティブ」に雇われた主人公が，荒廃した未来の世界と，その荒廃の原因となった事件が起こった1980年代のポーランドを行き来し，世界を救うために奔走する姿が描かれる。
トレイラーでは，右手が複数の触手のようになった怪物との戦いが収録されているが，注目は後半に登場する大型の怪物。そのままでも十分に手ごわそうなのだが，近くに転がっているほかの怪物の死体を触手で取り込み，さらにパワーアップする様子が確認できる。
この「融合」を止めるには，単に怪物を倒すだけではなく，焼却する必要があるとのことだ。
Bloober Teamは，過去に「Observer」「Layers of Fear」「Blair Witch」などのタイトルを手がけ，最近では「サイレントヒル」シリーズのリメイクを担当するなど，ホラーゲームの開発に定評のあるデベロッパだ。そのオリジナルIPとして開発されている本作は，2025年後半のリリースが予定されている。

KONAMIは2025年6月12日，同社の最新情報を紹介する番組「KONAMI PRESS START」で，サイコロジカルホラー「SILENT HILL」のリメイクを制作中であることを発表した。発表によると，続編にあたる「SILENT HILL 2」のリメイクを手掛けたBloober Teamが制作に参加しているとのこと。
