セガ，Creative Assemblyの「HYENAS」など，複数タイトルの開発中止を発表

　セガサミーホールディングスは，ヨーロッパ市場におけるコンシューマ分野の構造改革を行うと発表し，イギリスの傘下スタジオCreative Assemblyが開発を進めていた「HYENAS」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PS4 / Xbox One）を含む，未発表の複数タイトルの開発を中止することを明らかにした。

コンシューマ分野（エンタテインメントコンテンツ事業）の構造改革実施に関するお知らせ

　理由としては，巣ごもり需要からの反動減やインフレなどによる経済環境の悪化が挙げられており，とくにヨーロッパ地域では事業環境の変化が急速に進み，収益性が悪化傾向にあるという。
　そのため，タイトルポートフォリオの見直しを行い，Creative Assemblyを中心に，グループ各社の固定費削減を実施することになった。

　開発中止に伴い，2024年3月期の業績予想では損失を計上する見込みだが，複数の新作タイトルを投入する予定であることと，アミューズメント機器分野や映像・玩具分野が堅調であるため，2024年3月期の通期連結業績予想に変更はないという。

　「Total War」シリーズで知られるCreative Assemblyの「HYENAS」は，無重力空間での戦いが特徴となるオンラインFPSで，3人ずつの5チームが宇宙船に積まれている貨物の争奪戦を繰り広げる。8月から9月にかけては，クローズドβテストが実施されていた。
