「レインボーシックス シージ」，6月10日の無料化に合わせて実装されるY10S2の新機能や“Clash”のリマスターなどの詳細を発表

　ユービーアイソフトは2025年5月19日，タクティカルFPS「レインボーシックス シージ」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PS4 / Xbox One）の世界大会「RE:L0:AD 2025」の会場にて，同作のYear 10ロードマップを公開した。


　今回の発表でフォーカスが当てられたのは，6月10日にスタートするシーズン2「Operation Daybreak」の内容や，それと同時に行われる基本プレイ無料化の大型アップデート「レインボーシックス シージ エックス」についてだ。


　それによると，シーズン2では，新規プレイヤーへ向けたチャレンジ機能実装や，UIの再構築，手足へのダメージ減少をはじめとするさまざまなバランス調整など，多数のアップデートが実施される予定だ。また，既存オペレータの「Clash」にリマスターが行われ，CCEシールドが自由に設置できるようになるうえ，遠隔操作でテーザー銃を起動できるようになっている。


　また，発表の後半では，シーズン3以降のアップデート内容についても触れられている。それによると，シーズン3では，シーズン2のフィードバックに重点を起きつつ，新たな武器の追加，新兵のアップデート，防衛用の倍率スコープ追加などを，シーズン4ではシーズン3とは異なる性質の武器が追加されるほか，複数のマップのリメイクなどが予定されているそうだ。
