「Fortnite Festival」シーズン10のアイコンにバーチャルバンド「Gorillaz」を起用。ヌードル，2D，ラッセル，マードックのコスチュームが登場

　Epic Gamesは本日（2025年8月26日），「フォートナイト」（PC / Nintendo Switch 2 / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch / PS4 / Xbox One / iOS / Android）内でサービス中のリズムゲーム「Fortnite Festival」のシーズン10のアイコンとして，世界的なバーチャルバンド「Gorillaz」を起用した。


　Gorillazは，イギリス出身の音楽プロジェクトだ。ゲーム中には，Gorillazのメンバーであるヌードル，2D，ラッセル，マードックのコスチュームが登場し，それぞれのテーマに沿ったアクセサリーが付属する。
　さらに，彼らの楽曲「DARE」「Clint Eastwood」「On Melancholy Hill」がジャムトラックに追加されるほか，Gorillazの世界観に合わせてメインステージがコンクリートジャングルに変わり，高層ビルや路面電車などに変更された。

新たなユニバースにおけるクロスオーバーが実現!

Epic Games（本社:アメリカ合衆国、CEO:Tim Sweeney）は、世界最大のバーチャルバンドGorillaz が新たなユニバースへクロスオーバーし、Fortnite Festival シーズン 10 の新たなアイコンとして登場することを発表します。メンバーの「ヌードル」、「2D」、「ラッセル・ホブス」、そして「マードック・ニカルス」が8月26日(米国時間)に初登場します。

Gorillaz x Fortnite Festival の新要素:

・ジャムトラック 「DARE」、「Clint Eastwood」、「On Melancholy Hill」がフォートナイトに登場。「DARE」はエモートとしても登場し、振付とともに曲の一部が流れます。
・Fortnite Festival のメインステージはプラスティック・ビーチからコンクリートジャングルに変わり、高層ビル、路面電車、十分な量のグラフィティを備え、Gorillaz の世界観を体現しています。
・Gorillaz のメンバー「ヌードル」、「2D」、「ラッセル」、「マードック」のコスチュームが登場。それぞれのテーマに沿ったアクセサリーも付属しています。なお、Gorillaz のアイテムは、フォートナイトのショップまたはミュージックパスで入手可能です。

フォートナイト フェスティバルは、2023 年 12 月 9 日にローンチした音楽主体のリズムゲームです。プレイヤーは友達とバンドを組んで演奏したり、ソロでステージに立ってお気に入りアーティストの楽曲をプレイできます。バトルロイヤルやレゴ フォートナイトなどと並行して、フォートナイト内で無料でプレイ可能です。

各シーズンには新たなアイコンが登場し、そのアーティストにインスパイアされたコスメティックアイテムや、アーティストのディスコグラフィーから選ばれた楽曲がゲーム内でプレイ可能になります。これまでの Fortnite Festival のアイコンについては、フォートナイト公式ブログをご覧ください。
